When you use CronGuard, we collect:

• Ping timestamps, status, duration, and optional messages

• IP addresses associated with ping requests (for security and rate limiting)

2.3 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe may collect payment information in accordance with their privacy policy. We only receive and store subscription status and billing history from Stripe.

2.4 Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use our service, including browser type, operating system, pages visited, time spent on pages, and other diagnostic data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our cron job monitoring service
• Send you alerts when your monitored jobs fail or recover
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support

4. Data Retention

We retain your data according to your subscription plan:

• Free plan: Ping history retained for 7 days
• Pro plan: Ping history retained for 30 days
• Team plan: Ping history retained for 90 days

Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services including Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Neon (database hosting)
• Team Members: If you are part of a team, other team members with appropriate permissions may see monitor data
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure database hosting with Neon, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
